How
far along are we:
6
months, 2 weeks, and 6 days
Our
progress: We got immigration approval IN THE MAIL!
Finally!
We
are waiting for:
Our Dossier to be authenticated(notarized)! Takes
about 2 wks!
The
next step:
Our
Dossier will be sent to China! (½ way point)
Things
we did this week:
Last wk
Friday: Got 4 yards of dirt and worked till 9 pm spreading it!
Saturday:
Andy worked and then we worked in the yard all day followed by
some ice cream!
Sunday:
Church, cleaned, more yard work
Monday:
Cleaned out all the plants in
the back plant bed and loaded them in Andy's truck.
Tuesday:
Andy went to the dump, then out to Sheboygan Home depot and put 8
Railroad ties on his truck!!! They are 237 lbs a piece! And if you've
seen his truck you'd be amazed they carried that much weight! It was
a slow ride home for him! Then when he got home, he put them in place
with my dad.
Wednesday:
We went to the fair and saw the fireworks. Didn't get home till
10:30pm.
Thursday:
Andy's birthday! He headed off for work and I got a call at 5:45 am!
His truck broke down! I had to go pick him up and we jumped his
truck and got it back home. He ended up working on his truck for most
of the day and was also able to put our fence back together(he put in
a huge gate so trucks could get back there). Even though he was busy
working most of the day on his truck, it was nice having him home on
his birthday! Grady was his little helper! :) And thankfully his
truck is fixed! I got a lot done in the house... Touched up the
living room paint and ceiling, fixed bathroom ceiling, laundry! After
fixing his truck and the fence, we took him to Pizza Ranch and ate
way too much. Then we rode our bikes up to possibility playground and
down a trail through the woods on the way home! Eli got sick in the
middle of the night(threw up twice) so it was a long night!
Friday:
3 more yards of dirt was delivered and me and the kids wanted to
surprise Andy by spreading it all for him so he didn't have to do so
much work when getting home! We got it spread, but now I am
exhausted! After being up all night with Eli I'm not sure how I got
the energy to spread the dirt, but I'm still going.
Things we still need to do
-plant grass in the back
-put in a border for plant bed
-move and fix swing set
-Make room for Zeke's clothes to fit into the boy's room. Maybe a closet organizer. Maybe a taller dresser with more drawers. We'll have to get creative!
-Fix the boys walls: patch and paint some areas (maybe an update)
Today I am feeling: PRODUCTIVE! It's been such a productive week and I'm loving it!!! It will be so nice to have the yard done, then we can focus on the inside stuff!
